Candle Care

  • Trim the wick to ¼ inch each time before burning. Long or crooked wicks can cause uneven burning, dripping or flaring.
  • When lighting a soy candle for the first time, allow the wax to melt all the way to the sides of the container. Depending on the container size, this should take 1-3 hours.
  • Soy wax has a lower melt point so keep your soy candle out of direct sunlight as this may cause it to “sweat.” If this happens, remove your candle from the heat source and allow it to cool. It will quickly return to its normal state.
  • Soy wax can be cleaned from surfaces with hot soap and water. Avoid pouring soy wax down your drain.

How To Reuse The Jars

  • Soak empty jar in hot water and dish soap to remove label and wick.
  • Use to display flowers, trinkets, pencils/pens, or makeup brushes.

Safety

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended.
  • Burn candles in a well-ventilated room and avoid drafts, vents or air currents. This will help prevent rapid or uneven burning.
  • Keep the wax pool clear of matches and debris at all times.
  • Do not place a burning candle within 2 feet of clothing, books, curtains, or anything flammable.
  • Extinguish all flames when you leave a room, go to sleep, or if the flame gets too close to the candle container.
